I spy

I have been rather unweekly about the illustrationfriday.com weekly contributions of late, I blame moving house twice in four months, and possibly the weather. Tis most uninspiring to do unpaid illustration work when one's life evolves around cardboard boxes. But now, I live beside the seaside...and all is most grand and inspiring.

This weeks topic had me finally putting aquarell to paper , a notion an old friend said to me many years ago....which still gives me a giggle.
Bit of a quick roughy....I was afterall... sipping hazelnut coffee by the the sea at the time...

How lovely to live by the sea! It must be such a treat... I live inland for the first time in my life, and it feels a bit confining. This is a great drawing. It really does show that there are at least two sides to every situation:>
