capture

These are my hands..drawn from a photo...as to try and draw ones own hands whilst they are tied is rather tricky... I've always wanted to do a drawing of just hands but was never quite brave enough... but have learnt through this sketch to not be a such a big girls blouse about such things....also learnt that I will never be into bondage..I did not like being tied up at all
Now that I look at it on the screen , it looks like the hands themselves could be about to capture something in their grasp....hmmmmmmm...
.....20 minutes and a photoshop diddle later.........

two captures for the price of none!

Great hands! Both the illo and the ones that drew this. Simply beautiful.
I can't draw hands. still trying. your drawing is amazing!
Wonderful drawing, and your comments were very funny.
It's funny, but I think of all the artists I grew up with, they all hated or feared hands. They are such wonderous devices that to capture them as well as you have done here is quite a feat. Great job.
:)=
oooh, I really like the combo of traditionally rendered drawing and the photoshop butterfly. works very well!
You have a pair of powerful hand. I have always envy those who have beautiful hands which are smooth and without wrinkles. But not mine as I have been using them to do so much house works that make them look fat and rough.
Very skillfull drawing of your hands! And the rope ain't bad either!
Beautiful drawing and concept. I like them both - the first leaves you contemplating and the second give you a beginning. (if that makes sense)
These hands are perfect! Great job and idea!!
Oh my...this is so stunning! Your skill and draftsmanship is clearly evident here, but there's also a feeling of emotion in open hands bound but reaching out for something. It's as if the spirit never stops seeking.... I love the addition of the butterfly, but even without it, there is such strong symbolism. Beautiful work!
Great pencil work! (I can never do hands.)
Wow great work! i love the detail in the hands and rope. Great pencil work. I like how the butter fly changes the mood of the piece. Great illo(s)!
Ummm. . .AMAZING! Fantastic shading and movement. Wow - very - very impressive drawing. A wonderful concept for the topic as well.
